I have been involved with real estate for the last two years, studying under Adam Foland at EXIT Realty Advantage and attending realty classes, conferences, and special training. I started as the EXIT office administrator and was initially reluctant to get into “sales” but soon realized that real estate is not about sales – it is about service. At EXIT I have learned that quality and integrity come first, and that good problem-solving skills are key in real estate.
My background in service goes back twenty years to Gateway 2000 where I received extensive customer service training to perform computer support on the phone and via chat and email. I moved up in the company to the Executive Response Team where I answered questions and solved problems for customers who contacted Gateway executives. I continued in the service industry for another fourteen years at Dakota State University in the IT department, performing a large variety of IT support and maintenance tasks. My wife and I then started our own company where we continue to fix home computers and provide family photography, scanning services, scrapbooking, digital arts, and photo workshops in the Madison area. I am also the office administrator at EXIT, and I manage their U-Haul Dealership.
My strengths are customer service, writing, research, and photography. As a professional photographer, I provides high quality real estate photography to my clients when I list their property for sale. Excellent quality photography can have an influence on the number of people who become interested in your listing online.
In my personal life I love to spend time with my kids, and we are looking forward to becoming grandparents soon. I enjoy nature and nature photography, cycling, and quiet nights at home with my wife now that we are empty-nesters. My wife and I are also on a photography challenge to take photos in every county in South Dakota over the next few years and write a book about it.
I sincerely look forward to helping people buy and sell homes in our community!
